WindSider as wind energy development platform

The wind energy industry faces slow and expensive processes during the prospection and development phases of projects. In 2020, 3E, a sustainable energy consultancy company, launched the European Commission funded WindSider project to revolutionize fast access to global, and cost-effective solutions for generating high-resolution and accurate wind resource data for planning bankable wind farms. Nazka Mapps contributed to this project with expertise in interactive mapping applications and remote sensing. Our innovative use of remote sensing technology improves 3E wind resource modelling results by providing up-to-date land cover information. Together, Nazka Mapps and 3E are committed to supporting the shift towards renewable energy and delivering valuable solutions. As has been the case for all of the Nazka projects, also this project delivers value in mapps that matter.
