INA: The Intervention App for Emergency Services

The intervention application INA gives emergency services the tool to always be optimal informed about the situation on site. INA resembles a combination of “whatsapp and google maps”. The availability on all types of devices ensures that all stakeholders always have access to the most up-to-date information. The map in INA is built on Nazka’s Mapframe Embed technology, which allows for deep integration of interactive maps into other applications. A successful collaboration with Leuven’s Gemsotec and the Antwerp fire brigade zone led to the rollout of INA in the summer of 2020. Since then, several other Flemish fire brigade zones have jumped on board with INA. The geodata on the map is fully controlled and managed by the customer themselves, layers are automatically and intelligently activated, hazard zones are drawn live and shared across multiple devices. In case of natural fires, INA automatically draws danger zones based on wind speed and direction. INA is an innovative product, platform-independent and can be installed and rolled out quickly.
