Nazka Mapps Featured in EUSpace Innovation Video of EUSPA

Our co-founder Han Tambuyzer, briefly explains Nazka Mapps' involvement in the Buildspace project starting at minute 1:39.

EUSPA, the European Union Agency for the Space Programme, supports the development of the European space sector through Horizon Europe. This is EU's key research and innovation program, that has funded 49 projects involving 600 entities, including many SMEs.

Buildspace aims to develop innovative applications to support buildings' energy efficiency and cities' resilience and sustainability. Buildspace (https://www.buildspaceproject.eu/) utilizes cutting-edge technologies, such as satellite data analysis, digital twins, cloud based mapping platforms, virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR. The project is building services to enable users and stakeholders to interact with a building's or cities' digital twin and allows them to simulate and monitor several scenario's. This helps in developing strategies for the sustainability and resilience of cities against the risks posed by climate change, with an emphasis on the analysis of the urban thermal environment and flooding.
